In order to ensure a high level of flexibility when using the various inductive proximity designs (even at high ambient temperatures), ipf electronic has expanded its range. In addition to threaded models M8 to M80, with the IB130155 and IB090150, the supplier now offers two further solutions measuring 12x60x12mm and 8x55x8mm. As the active area of the sensors is located in the upper area of the long housing side, these devices are especially used in applications where the use of threaded devices with an active area on the face is too narrow. The housing has two threaded drill holes for simple installation and/or exchange. Their distances apart and sizes are identical with the standard devices that have been supplied for years. The IB130155 inductive proximity switch is designed for maximum ambient temperatures of up to +130°C, the nominal operating distance is is 4mm. Connection takes place via a 2m long silicone cable. As an alternative to this, the IB130156 has a 5m cable. With a nominal operating distance of 2mm, the IB090150 inductive proximity switches can even withstand ambient temperatures of up to +140°C. This device features a 2m silicone cable, and is also offered as a 5m variant (IB090151).
