Integrating Safety Applications

Wago Profisafe modules integrate safety-related sensors and actuators into Sinumerik-840-D Powerline or Solutionline via Profibus. The 757-662 input module, with eight secure inputs, and the 753-667 I/O module, with four inputs and outputs, can be configured for optimal adaptation to the field end. Filter times, test pulses and time monitoring can be optimized to meet the demands of sensor and actuator systems. These modules support safety applications up to Cat. 4 PLe and SIL 3 under Profisafe and are assigned to CNC control via fieldbus couplers for Profibus.
