Plastic Slide Pads

igus has a comprehensive range of polymer plain bearings for the lubrication-free support of shafts and rails during rotation and lifting movements. The tribologically optimised plastics can alsobe used for longitudinal movement. The company recently presented DryLin slide pads for this purpose. These slide pads can be used in many different applications, e.g. steel girders or aluminium base plates, and allow up to two tonnes to be moved slowly and dynamically. Lubricant-free slide pads made of a high-performance polymer that can be used almost anywhere. They are used when work is being done on any surface. The subject of hygiene plays a major role, to prevent bearings becoming dirty on undefined slidingtracks or paths.
