Switzerland Partner Country at CeBIT 2016 Presents Swisscom AG as One of the Leading Representatives

As a long-term partner of ICT Switzerland, which is coordinating the Swiss activities of CeBIT 2016 in Hannover, Swisscom AG is pleased to be one of the leading representatives of this year's Partner Country.

Exhibiting in the Swiss Pavilion, it is showcasing not just applications from the digital world, but also the people behind them. Swisscom and Ruag are also sponsoring the official reception for Partner Country Switzerland on 16 March 2016 - and two days before that CEO Urs Schaeppi is joining other representatives from business and technology and Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann at the CeBIT Switzerland Summit.

Swisscom's role in the fair should be seen first and foremost as a reflection on this year's CeBIT motto: "The digital Transformation is happening now!" Visitors to the Swisscom stand can expect to find lighthouse projects from the world of tomorrow that have grown out of an extensive network. Take a walk through a 3D animation with specially created content and the virtual future will become a reality for a short time.

The experts from Swisscom are also using everyday examples such as coffee machines to show how the Internet of Things will change our day-to-day lives through control systems and remote maintenance. However, the world of work is also changing at an ever faster pace thanks to digitalization. Visitors will therefore have the chance to talk to Swisscom about opportunities on the Swiss labor market - in the fine Swiss surroundings of a converted mountain cable car.
