In order to grant precise limitation of torque, Enemac provides torque limiters type ECI. These models are used for limiting torques in traction drives, in packaging machines and conveying systems. There is no need for additional crown gears, chains wheels or gears, as the mounting for adapting of pinion-end elements was designed widely. The precise limitation of torque is ensured by the disc springs, which allow a wide torque range without needing any replacement of springs.


Torque range available from 2 Nm up to 900 Nm in 14 different sizes


The ball-hurtling-principal interjects within a few angular degrees the drive chain between motor and machine, the separation occurs compulsory and purely mechanical. These torque limiters are generally equipped with a synchronous hurtling, thus, drive part and pinion-end element have only one tab location within 360 degrees. Moreover, torque transmission from engine shaft occurs through a keyway on the hub of the coupling, and regarding the transmission of torque, just a bolted flange connection is required.
