The MAC423 and MAC335 universal code readers from Pepperl+Fuchs can read 26 different 1D and 2D code symbologies without requiring mechanical modifications. These code readers have a large read range from 80mm to 250mm. They perform up to 30 read operations per second at speeds of up to 10m per second and produce pin-sharp images thanks to their high resolution of 1.3 megapixel. The code readers have an error characteristics memory, a VGA output for direct monitor/display connection, an Ethernet port and a pressure die cast zinc housing. Their Java script functionality enables the readers to be linked into all common programs and permits evaluations to be carried out on the reader itself. The readers also feature IP65 protection.
