Lika Electronic's EHO36, EHM36, and EHO37C rotary absolute encoders are built in a very compact and rugged 36-mm housing and feature 6-mm solid and blind hollow shafts. Their small footprint and sturdy design with up to IP67 protection enable easy integration in confined spaces and harsh, challenging industrial environments.
Cable or M12-connection
These encoders can be equipped with either high-accuracy optical sensing technology (EHO36, EHO37C) or robust magnetic sensing technology (EHM36). The multi-turn versions incorporate the EHG (Energy Harvesting Generator) technology platform. The multi-turn counter is battery-free and gearless, allowing the encoders to be lighter and more compact, while reducing the risk of mechanical failure. Furthermore, the operating temperature range can be extended from -40°C to +100°C, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications. The EHO36, EHM36, and EHO37C encoders are equipped with the SSI or BiSS interfaces and offer very high single-turn (up to 24 bits) and multi-turn resolutions (up to 32 bits). They are available with cable or M12 inline plug.
