Since many years Enemac from Germany takes advantage of the positive properties of metal bellows such as high torsional stiffness and low inertia moments. From these bellows with various forms the manufacturer creates shaft couplings for various applications in all areas of mechanical drive technology. Through various fasteners such as clamping and conical hubs the secure attachment to the respective connecting shafts are being enabled.

Now the manufacturer has extended his successful coupling series EWH at a new size - the EWH 4000, which is allowed for torques up to 4000 Nm. The new size is suitable for shaft diameters of 70 - 130 mm. The clamping on the shaft occurs by the so-called shrink disks clamping principle. The company hereby took the demands of many customers into account who asked for an extension of the previous torque range. Applications of the new size are accurate drives as they occur for example in printing machines, main spindle drives for machine tools, as well as in general engineering.
