The profi le scanners of Micro- Epsilon’s scanCONTROL 2700 and 2710 series are designed for tasks like the measuring of angles, steps and positions or profi les. The 2700 acts as a pure data supplier; profi le calculation is performed externally. The 2710 calculates the information in the sensor and can be operated without any additional PC or programming. The series operates at 100Hz and a resolution of 640 points per profi le. The measuring range starts at a distance of 175mm to the sensor and can be extended from 50 to 105mm.
