Micro-Epsilon released the thermometer CTRatio as a new pyrometer designed to deliver precise results with non-contact temperature measurements in harsh metal processing environments. The key feature lies in delivering constant measurement results even when surrounded by dust, smoke and vapors, as well as with contaminated lenses or when the object is moving within the measuring field.
High spectral sensitivity (1.45 to 1.75 micrometer) and measuring ranges from +250°C to +3000°C
With a response time of just 1ms, even high-speed processes can be monitored reliably. A green sighting laser helps alignment of the pyrometer. Its green laser light works at a wavelength of 520nm and offers significantly better visibility on red-hot glowing, metallic surfaces. One- or two-channel measurements are available.
