Developed for high volume OEM applications such as mobile cranes, fire rescue vehicles, mobile working platforms and scissor lifts, Micro-Epsilon’s wireSENSOR MK88 weighs just 400g (including cable) and has a glass fiber-reinforced plastic housing that measures 88x90x90mm. It is available in three measuring ranges of 2300, 3500 and 5000 mm, each with potentiometric, 0-10V or 4-20mA output options. Upon request the sensor’s integral PA coated stainless steel cable can be exchanged for a connector. The sensor can also be supplied as a mechanically-only option and be mounted onto customer’s encoder via a universal mounting plate. Protected to IP65, the sensor has a –20 to 80 °C, with a -40 °C version available upon request.
