The electrically-activated LZ-E clamping elements of the LOCKED Series from ACE are suitable for 15 mm size Bosch rails. These clamping elements work according to the wedge principle ensuring that the holding and clamping force is amplified using the force of gravity acting through the Z-axis. This makes a secure clamping of loaded axes possible in case of gravity-loaded diagonal or linear axes, in tool production machines or in the vertical axes of handling units, after controlled switch-off or emergency switch-off. These clamping elements are designed for the highest retention forces of up to 1,500 N.
