Following approval by the government safety organisation (BG), ACE's LOCKED LZ-P model clamping elements will be available with BG certification as of the fall of 2010. It means that the problem-free functioning of these pneumatic products for rails (size 15 mm) has been officially confirmed, even for use in rough environments. Based on the completion of test series, these products, which have been developed especially for the safe and reliable clamping of Z axes, are becoming interesting for more customers. The machine elements are designed for the clamping of suspended loads on the guide sled of a guide rail, and for the emergency braking of a mass moving downwards in accordance with the intended direction.
