Made for safety monitoring of speed, standstill, and direction of motion of incremental encoders and sensors, the IFS-10 safety controller from Lika Electronic is SIL3/PLe certified and can be controlled via removable keyboard. It can support several encoder solutions such as IFS-10S/IFS-10SA (1 input for safe SIL3/PLe certified Sin/Cos encoders) or IFS-10/IFS-10A (2 multi-function inputs for redundant connection of Sin/Cos, TTL/RS-422 and HTL encoders and sensors, freely combinable).


Suitable for integration into existing safety systems or for retrofitting of old machines


It can be equipped with additional Sin/Cos and RS-422 signal splitter outputs that provide safe encoder signals to subsequent controller. Its SS1, SS2, and SOS safety functions are EN61800-5-2 compliant. In addition, the IFS-10 comes with four Push-Pull control outputs, one safe and scalable 4-20mA analog output, up to 8 RS-422 pulse and/or HTL/PNP control inputs, up to two force guided redundant relay outputs, and a compact DIN rail mounting case.
